FAQ

  • Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body's energy systems (also know as chakras) to remove blockages. By breaking through these energetic blockages, the body's inherent ability to heal itself is stimulated. Energy healing is an excellent compliment to Western Medicine, and has been proven effective through the study of Quantum Physics.

  • Our bodies tend to get out of sync due to factors like environment, contaminated food, and stress, which leads to ailments such as anxiety, depression, and long-term illness. We also are energetically corded to other people in our lives. Sometimes these cords become tangled or contaminated, in which case they benefit from being cleaned or cut.

Energy Healing is all about bringing balance and harmony. It can assist with a myriad of symptoms from pain, mental fatigue, overwhelm, stress, and depression to overcoming fears, healing past traumas, an elevated sense of connection, and a deep feeling of peace.

  • One of the oldest forms of Energy Healing is Reiki. Reiki is Japanese in origin and was founded in the 1920’s by monk, Mikao Usui. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. It involves the transfer of qi (or chi) through a practitioner's palms, sometimes through direct touch. Some practitioners will use crystals to enable healing or protect from negative energy.

  • Pranic Healing is Philippine in origin and was founded in 1987 by chemical engineer, Master Choa Kok Sui. Pranic comes from the word prana, which means vital energy. Pranic Healing is a no-touch Energy Healing modality that uses prana to heal a wide range of physical and psychological ailments. Pranic Healing is highly systematic and scientific-based, which distinguishes it from other healing modalities.

  • In Sanskrit, the word “chakra” means “disk” or “wheel” and refers to the energy centers in your body. These wheels or disks of spinning energy each correspond to certain nerve bundles and major organs.

To function at their best, your chakras need to stay open, or balanced. If they get blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to a particular chakra.

There are seven main chakras that run along your spine. They start at the root, or base, of your spine and extend to the crown of your head. There are also at least 114 different minor chakras in the body!
